Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki was the third oldest daughter. She was the child of Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist 8]) and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), who were both real estate developers. Her grandfather had come to Greece in 1904 and her maternal grandmother was of Irish origin. Her parents got married in the year 1976. Psaki has Polish heritage. She graduated from Greenwich High School, 1996. In 2000, Psaki completed her studies at the College of William & Mary. She graduated with a degree in English and sociology. She is a member of Chi Omega. While at William & Mary, Psaki was a backstroke athlete for the William & Mary Tribe athletic team for two years. Psaki's career began in 2001 when she was involved in the re-election campaigns of Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrat running for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack, a candidate for governor. Psaki was later named deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential campaign for 2004. Psaki was also the communications director for Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 until 2006. MSNBC announced that Psaki would be an analyst for the 2022 United States election and the 2024 presidential campaign. In 2023 she will host a Peacock streaming show on MSNBC.
